A Little About Me

Breeding European Maine Coon Cats in Tarpon Springs, FL & Pittsburgh, PA

Hi, I’m Donna! I grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania but purchased a home in Tarpon Spring Florida in 2018. I travel back and forth a lot because my family and friends are all in “da burgh” but I’m an official Floridian now.

When I began my search for my first Maine Coon, I knew I wanted to get into showing my cat. I was particularly drawn to European Maine Coons for their larger size and wilder appearance. I also looked for Champion and Grand Champion bloodlines to ensure a strong lineage.

The moment I saw a picture of Crystal Jam Jamaica—now called Loki—I instantly knew she was the one. When I brought her home, we formed an instant bond. If you’ve ever heard that Maine Coons are more like dogs, believe me, it’s true! I had never owned a cat that wanted to be by my side every waking moment.

Owning a Maine Coon is a lot like having a toddler—you’ll never use the bathroom alone again. They love knocking things off counters just because they can, they communicate with an incredible range of vocalizations, and they are both playful and highly trainable.

After several months, I started searching for a companion for Loki. I had always been captivated by the look of Black Smoke Maine Coons, so I began my search again—once more focusing on European lines with Champion and Grand Champion pedigrees. It took some time, but I finally found my boy, O ’Alejandro, and named him Castiel (after the character from Supernatural—IYKYK).

When I got Loki and Castiel, I opted for breeding rights on both—just in case everything aligned perfectly. And over a year later, it did! On February 25, 2025, we welcomed our first litter.

I still plan to show both Loki and Castiel, and I truly hope that the lucky families chosen for these majestic kittens take full advantage of their exceptional bloodlines. It would be amazing to see more Champions and Grand Champions added to their pedigree!
