Loki & Castiel
Get to know the majestic queen and king behind our kittens— European Maine Coons raised in the USA with love and selected for exceptional health, temperament, and beauty.
Queen Loki
Loki is from Russia and has Champion, International Champion, Grand Champion, and International Grand Champion titles throughout her pedigree. The very first time I saw her picture, the word “majestic” came to mind.
I know this makes me sound like a cat lady—and I guess I am—but I truly believe she’s my soulmate cat. She’s definitely a lap cat, always soothing me with her purrs and playful nature. Loki is also very vocal, with such a wide range of sounds that she amazes me daily.
Her favorite toy is a fishing rod teaser. If I forget to get it out, she’ll drag it into my bed to remind me. (Tip: you can get some amazing pictures and slow-motion videos while she jumps for the toy!)
Sire Castiel
Castiel is from Ukraine and has Champion, International Champion, Grand Champion, and International Grand Champion titles throughout his pedigree—and even one Supreme Grand Champion, the highest title in TICA.
When Castiel came into our lives, it was seamless—once again, like it was meant to be. He is also a lap cat, but only when he wants to be, and his purr sounds like a motorcycle.
There are many times when I have them both on my lap, but Loki always insists on being on top—sometimes perched on my chest while Castiel rests on my lap.
He’s very loving and full of energy. His favorite toys are the fishing rod teaser and a simple golf ball, which he loves to roll and chase across the floor. (It makes for a very loud play session on tile and hardwood!).
